Swing contest
My son, Joseph, and I placed 3rd in a swing contest at James Dean Days last weekend! We had a lot of fun, and we got (by far!) the biggest applause from the audience. (Even the 1st and 2nd place winners couldn't figure out why we didn't get 1st place!) That was OK -- how often do you walk away with $100 for dancing for 15 minutes?

It is the truth. My wife and I were there and they by far were the best. They were shoulders above everyone else. They had a point in time where the dancers came to the crowd and picked a dancer, and Melodie chose me. I had to show her a thing or two! Ha! That was the first time I have ever danced in public and I had a blast! Joseph chose my wife and she too had a blast! The couple we were with now want to take dance lessons for their daughters upcomming wedding! Thank you Melodie for sharing your talent with us!
